Kellie-Anne offers you a warm welcome to La Maison St Arnaud, traditional, hosted B&B accommodation which is also Dog and Pet Friendly. Your host is a cyclist and can offer all related assistance.

This Victorian cottage, built late 1800's, was originally the Mt Carmel Convent of the Presentation Sisters from 1900 to 1929. Relocated to its present site in 1929, visitors can now enjoy the ambience of the restored cottage and the wonderful easterly panoramic vista of the Victorian High Country.

The view is best enjoyed from the rear deck on a sunny morning, warm summer afternoon or balmy evening.

One beautifully appointed guest bedroom, with private ensuite bathroom awaits you. Comfortably furnished with a queen-size bed, quality linen, wool quilts, TV / DVD and many personal touches.

A gourmet, seasonal breakfast is included in the tariff.

Each morning of your stay, be nurtured with a seasonal breakfast. Take your time to break the fast and enjoy a leisurely spread that will set you up for the day, whether it is for the journey ahead in the car, or on the bike, or a wine tour of the vineyards

Your host is happy to make some suggestions on the daily changing breakfast board. My aim is to use seasonal, and local ingredients, however it is your breakfast so I am guided by your preferences

A typical summer breakfast may consist of freshly squeezed orange juice, apple juice or a fresh berry & vanilla iced tea to awaken the senses and refresh the palate

A cereal selection and toast basket is always on offer, and is usually accompanied by Gippsland yoghurt, a seasonal fruit plate, Beechworth honey & homemade jams. Bircher muesli is a specialty at La Maison St Arnaud B&B

Or maybe a true European continental breakfast plate of fresh ham, soft cheeses, local olives, house basil pesto and fresh tomato with your sourdough ciabatta toast.....Cooked breakfast might be house specialty scrambled eggs with bacon, or smoked salmon, with fresh oven roasted roma tomatoes and swiss brown mushrooms.

When in season, a bed of asparagus usually lays under traditionally poached eggs and a side of vege-garden fresh rocket

A firm favourite of guests of La Maison St Arnaud is buttermilk blueberry & banana pancakes served with smooth ricotta and a dash of maple syrup. Or try the new French-toasted croissant with fresh strawberries and smooth ricotta - a little number learnt at The St Regis, Bali

Then sip on Twinings English or Irish breakfast tea, prepared in a teapot or French press (plunger) coffee, or stovetop espresso
